Bijna de helft (47%) van de consumenten doet 50% om meer van zijn bestellingen online, dit blijkt uit onderzoek van Capterra. Zij hebben 1003 consumenten vanaf 18 jaar die regelmatig een online bestelling doet onderzocht, om meer inzicht te krijgen in het koopgedrag van online shoppers in Nederland.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De ontwikkeling van e-commerce raakte in een stroomversnelling en dat zorgde ervoor dat vooral bij jongeren het online koopgedrag veranderde. Drie tot vijf online aankopen per maand is inmiddels normaal. Daarnaast besteld 88% van de ondervraagden wel eens met een smartphone. Hierdoor moeten online retailers hun webshops steeds meer aanpassen aan de mobiele telefoon.<\/p>\n<h4>E-commerce is het grootste verkoopkanaal onder millennials<\/h4>\n<p>Er is een groot verschil in het aantal bestellingen online te zien aan de hand van leeftijden. Consumenten vanaf 56 jaar doet ongeveer 15% van hun aankopen online. Daarnaast doen consumenten onder de 55 jaar tussen de 25% en 50% van hun bestellingen online. Met een uitzondering van consumenten tussen de 26 en 35 jaar, zij doen zelf 50% tot 75% van hun bestellingen online.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens de coronacrisis bestelde 36% van de consumenten drie tot vijf keer per maand online, voor de coronacrisis was dit 11% minder. 90% van de ondervraagden heeft een voorkeur voor iDEAL als betaalmiddel en 41% heeft een voorkeur voor Paypal. Ook achteraf betalen wordt steeds vaker gebruikt,<\/p>\n<h4>88% van de consumenten besteld wel eens met een smartphone<\/h4>\n<p>51% van de ondervraagde consumenten gebruikt altijd of vaak een smartphone om online te shoppen. De belangrijkste redenen om via de smartphone te shoppen zijn het gemak, de laagdrempeligheid en de snelheid bij het doen van een transactie.<\/p>\n<p>De toename van online bestellingen betekent dus dat de webshop nog belangrijker wordt.
