Bedrijven promoten hun producten of diensten graag bij personen op het internet die een aansluitende doelgroep hebben. Vanaf 1 juli 2022 komen er strengere regels op het samenwerken met influencers. Vooral voor grote influencers met meer dan 500.000 volgers worden de regels strenger. Reclame maken wordt moeilijker en er moet duidelijker worden aangegeven dat het om reclame gaat.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De meeste jongeren consumeren bijna al hun media via het online verkeer. Ze zitten steeds vaker op sociale media en kijken minder tv dan voorheen. Dit zorgt ervoor dat merken en bedrijven met daarin jongeren als doelgroep, zich ook steeds meer gaan verschuiven naar deze kanalen. Omdat deze manier van media verspreiden relatief nieuw is, is er nog weinig wet- en regelgeving voor. Om de jongeren te beschermen stelde de EU in 2020 een <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cvdm.nl\/actueel\/gewijzigde-mediawet-van-kracht\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"external\">Mediawet<\/a> op. De nieuwe regels die in juli 2022 ingaan zijn de Nederlandse invulling hiervan.<\/p>\n<h4>De nieuwe regels<\/h4>\n<p>Dat er nieuwe regels zouden komen is al langere tijd geleden aangekondigd en kwam dus niet als een verrassing. Het belangrijkste is dat het duidelijk is wanneer er reclame wordt gemaakt, zodat niemand misleidt wordt of op het verkeerde been wordt gezet. Hiermee wordt gedoeld op de minderjarige kijkers die makkelijker be\u00efnvloedbaar zijn door influencers. Minderjarige kijkers zien influencers vaak als voorbeelden of idolen.<\/p>\n<p>Regels vari\u00ebren van het duidelijk aangeven dat het om reclame gaat tot het tonen om welk merk het gaat. Ook moet het gedurende de promotie duidelijk zijn dat het om een betaalde promotie gaat. Hieronder nog enkele andere regels die vanaf 1 juli van kracht gaan:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sluikreclame is niet toegestaan;<\/li>\n<li>De influencer mag niet aansporen om te kopen, afnemen of huren;<\/li>\n<li>Iedereen moet gebruik maken van Kijkwijzer-icoontjes;<\/li>\n<li>Geen unboxing van kinderspeelgoed;<\/li>\n<li>Geen promotie voor ongezonde voeding (kinderen t\/m 13).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Er gaat dus aardig wat veranderen vanaf 1 juli. Voor adverteerders is het belangrijk om van tevoren duidelijke afspraken te maken met de influencer. Leg de afspraken vast met een contract, zodat het voor beide partijen duidelijk is. De regels gelden voor nu alleen voor grote influencers met meer dan een half miljoen volgers, maar wellicht dat dit in de toekomst ook veranderd.<\/p>\n<h4>Affiliate marketing<\/h4>\n<p>Let er dus goed op dat de regels voor beide partijen duidelijk zijn en leg deze afspraken ook vast.
