Deze klantervaring stopt echter niet bij het moment van aankoop. Het wordt steeds gebruikelijker om de aankoop-journey voor klanten te personaliseren. De personalisatie wordt gebaseerd op het eerdere koopgedrag van de klant. Bij het retourneren wordt dit maar beperkt toegepast. Uit onderzoek van Navar blijkt dat nog geen 10% personalisatie toepast in de retour-journey. In dit artikel beschrijven wij hoe een gepersonaliseerde retourervaring eruit kan zien en waarom dit kan helpen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Wat is het personaliseren van de retourervaring?<\/h4>\n<p>Het personaliseren van de retourervaring betekent simpelweg dat niet iedere klant dezelfde retourervaring krijgt. Het doel is het belonen en stimuleren van loyaliteit en positief gedrag van klanten. Dit kan door het aanbieden van bijvoorbeeld een langere retourtijd, gratis retourneren, het gratis ophalen aan huis of een directe terugbetaling. Met directe terugbetaling hoeft de klant niet te wachten tot het pakket terug is in het distributiecentrum, maar wordt het direct teruggestort na het aanmelden van de retour.<\/p>\n<h4>Waarom een gepersonaliseerde retourervaring?<\/h4>\n<p>Door de inflatie en een gebrek aan consumentenvertrouwen is de groei voor veel retailers gestagneerd. Volgens het economisch bureau van de ING krimpt de afzet in de retail met 2% dit jaar, terwijl het retourvolume juist is gestegen met 44% ten opzichte van 2021. Hierdoor is het optimaliseren van het businessmodel en kostenbesparingen nog belangrijker geworden. In de online retail zijn de retourkosten vaak hoog, een oplossing hiervoor is retourreductie. In dit artikel zal het gaan over hoe het personaliseren van de retourervaring kan helpen. Een succesvolle gepersonaliseerde retourervaring kan leiden tot een betere klanttevredenheid en een lager retourpercentage.<\/p>\n<h4>Hoe wordt personalisatie van de retourervaring ingezet?<\/h4>\n<p>Voor het personaliseren van de retourervaring kunnen er drie methodes worden gebruikt:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Het retourneren onderdeel maken van een loyaliteit of een VIP-programma. Hierdoor kun je klanten die onderdeel zijn van het programma een ruimere retourservice bieden.<\/li>\n<li>Op basis van aankoop- en retourgedrag een segmentatie maken voor de retourservice, hierdoor worden klanten die beperkt retourneren beloond.<\/li>\n<li>Onderscheid maken in situaties. Afhankelijk van de situatie kan er een andere retourervaring worden aangeboden. Je kunt er bijvoorbeeld voor kiezen om in de uitverkoop betaald te laten retourneren, terwijl dit buiten de uitverkoop gratis is. Ook is het een optie om in de winkel kosteloos retourneren aan bieden.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Er zijn verschillende manieren waarop de retourervaring kan aansluiten op de wensen en het gedrag van jouw klanten. Hierbij kun je sturen op de doelstellingen die je als ondernemer zelf hebt. Door het personaliseren van de retourervaring krijg je meer inzicht in het individuele koop en retourgedrag van de klanten.<\/p>\n<h4>Het belonen van loyaal en duurzaam gedrag<\/h4>\n<p>Vaak komt 80% van de netto-omzet van ongeveer 20% van de klanten. Juist dit zijn de klanten die regelmatig bij je bestellen en maar beperkt retourneren, juist deze klanten wil je belonen. Je kijkt hierbij niet alleen naar de loyaliteit van de klanten, maar ook naar hoe duurzaam het gedrag is. De duurzaamheid van de klanten kan ook worden meegenomen als drijfveer om te differenti\u00ebren. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld door de klant een keuze te bieden tussen een snelle retourzending waarvoor de klant betaald, of een langzamere en duurzamere retourafhandeling die kosteloos is.<\/p>\n<p>Het personaliseren van de retourervaring helpt aan de ene kant om de kosten van het retourneren in de hand te houden en aan de andere kant om je klanten de beste retourervaring te geven en meer cross-selling te genereren op het retourmoment. Het optimaliseren van de retourervaring is dus een win-win voor beide partijen.<\/p>\n<h4>Retouren binnen affiliate marketing:<\/h4>\n<p>Ook binnen affiliate marketing zijn retouren niet te voorkomen.
