Deze ontevredenheid heeft onder andere te maken met de wijze waarop verkopers met klanten en\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">prospects<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0omgaan. Inmiddels is meer dan de helft van de kopers in de zakelijke markt (55%) ontevreden over de wijze waarop een verkoopgesprek verloopt.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">De belangrijkste frustratie is dat salesmedewerkers steeds slechter in staat zijn om waardevolle kennis toe te voegen aan wat hun gesprekspartners al weten. Door de voortdurende digitalisering kunnen inkopende partijen namelijk alsmaar makkelijker zelf informatie verzamelen via websites en\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">social<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0media. Dit blijkt uit onderzoek van technologiebedrijf IBM.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Verandering van het B2B-salesproces\u00a0<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">De situatie is er door het coronavirus uiteraard voor de B2B-sector ook niet beter op geworden. Uit een onlangs uitgevoerd onderzoek van een\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">salestrainigsbureau<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0in samenwerking met LinkedIn blijkt dat door de pandemie B2B-bedrijven massaal worden gedwongen om hun marketing- en salesprocessen versneld aan te passen, om de voortgang te waarborgen. Want niet alleen zijn de distributeurs in de problemen geraakt, maar ook is het koopgedrag in zakelijke markten verschoven richting het online<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">domein.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Behoefte aan nieuwe verkoopvaardigheden\u00a0<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">Uit het onderzoek is gebleken dat voor de uitbraak van het coronavirus \u2018slechts\u2019 27 procent van het verkoopproces in business-to-business virtueel heeft plaatsgevonden. Momenteel verwacht maar liefst 71 procent van de B2B-kopers dat het salesproces grotendeels via online kanalen plaatsvindt. Dat betekent dat salesprofessionals in zakelijke markten aan de slag moeten met de verbetering van hun digitale vaardigheden en zich meer kennis eigen dienen te maken betreft videobellen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Toenemende ontevredenheid<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">Het lastige aan deze situatie is dat B2B-kopers over het algemeen erg ontevreden zijn over de digitale competenties van de salesmedewerkers. Die ontevredenheid neemt naar verwachting ook alleen nog maar toe. Uit het onderzoek is namelijk ook gebleken dat 89 procent de salesprofessionals ziet worstelen met de moderne technologie. Ook vinden ze dat er slechte of \u00fcberhaupt geen ondersteunde\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">visuals<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0gebruikt worden in de online verkoopmeetings.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Gebrek aan virtuele\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">presentatie<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0skills<\/span><\/b><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"none\">De belangrijkste uitkomst uit het onderzoek is de slechte voorbereiding van verkopers en het gebrek aan presentatievaardigheden in een digitale omgeving.
