Dit is een stijging van 7 procent vergeleken met een jaar eerder. Het totale aantal online aankopen steeg met 27 procent naar 335 miljoen.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Deze groei van 27 procent werd voornamelijk veroorzaakt door de coronacrisis en de overheidsmaatregelen. In 2019 leek de e-commercegroei namelijk nog af te vlakken.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Wat ook opvallend is, zijn de enorme verschillen tussen producten en diensten (zowel in de online bestedingen als in het aantal online aankopen). Dit blijkt uit de Thuiswinkel Markt Monitor, het onderzoek naar online consumentenbestedingen in Nederland.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">De online bestedingen aan producten steeg in 2020 met 43 procent en het aantal online aankopen met 41 procent. Hiermee werden de grote klappen die onder andere de reis- en vrijetijdsbranches kregen nog enigszins gecompenseerd. Door de coronacrisis en de bijbehorende beperkingen zag de dienstensector de online bestedingen met 39 procent afnemen en het aantal online aankopen nam met 37 procent af.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Binnen een aantal sectoren was er sprake van een enorme groei. Onder andere de segmenten Home &amp; Living (+83%), DIY\/Garden (+74%), Sport en Recreatie (+62%), Food\/<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Nearfood<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0(+58%) en IT(+56%) zijn enorm gestegen.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Wat dan weer alles behalve verbazingwekkend is, is dat online uitgaven aan pakketreizen een daling van 72 procent laten zien ten opzichte van 2019. Losse vliegtickets en\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">accommodaties<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0dalen met 37 procent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Het aandeel van\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">iDEAL<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0als betaalwijze voor de online aankopen laat in 2020 ook wederom een sterke stijging zien. Van alle online aankopen zijn deze van 60 procent naar 69 procent verwerkt via\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">iD<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">EAL<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Vooral in de categorie Food\/<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Nearfood<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0is het aandeel van\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">iDEAL<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0sterk toegenomen, namelijk met zo\u2019n 11 procent. Dit gaat ten koste van de normale pintransacties. Overige betaalmiddelen, zoals cadeaubonnen, worden minder vaak gebruikt als betaalwijze voor online aankopen.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ook bij cross-border aankopen is\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">iDEAL<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0het meest gebruikte betaalmiddel, al ligt het\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">aand<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">el<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0met 46 procent van het aantal aankopen hier wel lager dan op de binnenlandse markt.
