Voor het eerst sinds de uitbraak van de coronapandemie zijn de prijzen waarvoor de Nederlandse industrie zijn producten verkoopt gestegen. De oorzaak hiervan was de hogere olieprijs, blijkt uit cijfers van het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS). De prijzen in de industrie waren in februari gemiddeld 0,6 procent hoger dan in dezelfde maand van vorig jaar. <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

De olieprijzen zijn sinds de uitbraak van het coronavirus flink ingestort. De reden hiervan was onder andere omdat er minder vraag was naar brandstoffen voor vliegreizen en omdat deze industrie minder hard draaide. Zo stonden bijvoorbeeld veel autofabrieken tijdelijk stil.<\/span> De prijs voor een vat Noordzee Brentolie kelderde kort na de wereldwijde uitbraak van bijna 70 dollar naar ongeveer 20 dollar. Sinds begin november is olie weer bezig aan een opmars. <\/span><\/p>\n

Vorige maand stegen de prijzen in de chemische industrie met 2,2 procent op jaarbasis. De olie-industrie had nog wel te kampen met lagere prijzen dan in februari vorig jaar. Maar deze daling was al veel minder hevig dan in de eerste maand van dit jaar.
